Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Charlotte is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The bowl tastes decent. Veggies as well. I did receive cold sweet potato fries. They did replace with fresh ones. This is a very small portion of food. So whomever said this was a decent portion of food doesn’t have a grown man stomach. I drove out of my element just to try this place as I am now eating different. However this can’t be filling. I’m giving it a chance. Maybe I should have asked for double protein. This spot is in uptown charlotte. So I know what that means for me. Flavor is okay, just portions are almost non existent. This for me is definitely a bougie spot that charges full meal price for minimal product. I’m going back to the hood where I belong. At least I can eat a real man meal at a decent price and taste is good and portion size isn’t compromised. I came I saw I tasted and I’m still hungry. First time here. In order for me to come back and support, I would have to eat before I come back to eat. I did enjoy the green unsweetened tea. Refill please. Sometimes as we try to find our way to greatness, we fall down. We must get back up again. I just spoke to who I think was the manager, she took my feedback head on. For that I will be back as she did sincerely apolo

The Mother’s Earth bowl with broccoli added is delicious. The atmosphere is nice and spacious with options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The black and green teas are good for no sugar. The lemonade is delicious. I still need to try other items on the menu, but I can highly recommend from this experience.

Despite living in Charlotte for 12 years, this was my first time at Flower Child. I've been missing out! The food was amazing, the sangria was delicious, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back!

Loved their new salad 'Spring Ingredient' especially the flavors of the arugula, charred asparagus & crispy-edge tofu slices, the textures of farro and pistachio nuts and the colors of the greens and the golden beet thinly sliced chips. LOVED the location too! Right by the Rail-Trail! Perfect place on a a comfortable evening :-)
